Deadline is reporting that The Bear Season 3 filming could commence very soon. FX and Hulu's series is eyeing a late February/early March 2024 start date.

Jeremy Allen White stars in the series. The Bear is his marquee role, but coming up, White will star with Zac Efron and Harris Dickinson in The Iron Claw. A24 will release the film in late December and it chronicles the career of the famous Von Erich professional wrestling family.

In The Bear, White stars as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto. He is an acclaimed chef of a Michelin star resturant who inherits his late brother's failing restaurant in Chicago. Carmen returns to Chicago to run the Italian beef sandwich shop and takes on all of his brother's burdens that he left behind.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, and Lionel Boyce also star in the series. The likes of Jon Bernthal, Oliver Platt, Joel McHale, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Molly Gordon have made appearances throughout the first two seasons. Christopher Storer created the series and has written numerous episodes.

The first season premiered on June 23, 2022 with a binge-able release. All eight episodes were available to stream on June 23. Nearly one full year later on June 22, 2023, the second season was released. It is unknown when the third season will be released, especially given the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes that surely affected its development.

Throughout its two seasons, The Bear has been a major player at the Emmys. It has received 13 nominations across its two seasons.
