Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns injury status vs. Lakers

It's currently a mixed bag for the Timberwolves less than an hour before tipoff. Anthony Edwards is currently listed as probable to play with a non-COVID illness. He has been playing through this issue of late, and the same should be the case on Friday.

Karl-Anthony Towns, however, is listed as questionable to play. KAT is still recovering from a lengthy injury spell, but it's also an illness that has put his status for Friday's game in question.

In a significant development just before the game starts, however, both Edwards and Towns have been cleared to play and will be available against LA.

Apart from Edwards and KAT, a few other players have been included in the Timberwolves' injury report. Kyle Anderson and Taurean Prince have both also been upgraded to available, but Jaylen Nowell and Austin Rivers, are both out. Naz Reid was recently diagnosed with a broken wrist and is expected to be sidelined for an extended period.

However, with regard to the question of Are Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns playing tonight vs. the Lakers, the answer is yes.
