Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor addressed his stance on selling the team on Wednesday after reports surfaced that Kevin Garnett and his group are interested in becoming the franchise's owners.

In an appearance on WCCO Radio's Sports to the Max with Mike Max, Taylor explained he is not explicitly hoping to sale the Timberwolves, but he would consider any and all offers.

“It was a professional group that had looked at the Timberwolves and looked at maybe its value and said that they knew some families that they thought the could afford it and might be interested,” Glen Taylor explained.

“So they approached us and asked me if I would allow them to go talk to these families and see what value they would put on the team and see if they were correct. And then if they could find somebody, they would come back to me and then we would pursue it. And that's kind of where we're at right now.”

As mentioned, former Timberwolves star Kevin Garnett voiced his potential interest in buying the team, and he tried to play nice on Twitter.

Of course, Garnett has had other choice words for Taylor in the past. He told Shams Charania of The Athletic that Taylor was a “snake” and said there was a lack of ingenuity in his ownership and the working relationship between them.

With that said, Taylor said “let's not get ahead of ourselves” when asked whether he could envision negotiating with Garnett to complete a potential sale of the Timberwolves.

Sometimes, animosity interferes with business. It appears that might be the case when it comes to Taylor and Garnett.
