The Minnesota Timberwolves are playing some good basketball early on. They have added some exciting new pieces. They also have three key players in Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, and D'Angelo Russell.
In the Timberwolves game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Superstar Karl-Anthony Towns made an insane shot to send the game to overtime. The shot was from about 40 feet out on the right side of the logo. Towns is already having a monster year and in the contest against the Grizzlies, he has 22 points. He's also been able to add 13 rebounds.

The Timberwolves are having a few guys step up as Anthony Edwards has 26 points, and D'Angelo Russell also has 26 points.
The Timberwolves got the season started on the right foot but unfortunately have dropped four games in a row that has led them to be 3-5 on the season. Minnesota is hoping that they can sneak out a win against the Grizzlies and if it wasn't for Towns they wouldn't be in overtime.
Minnesota fans have to be excited about the thought of their future. They have arguably the best center in the NBA, who is accompanied by two All-Star caliber players. If the Timberwolves can go out and make a couple more moves, they might be a team to look out for in the Western Conference. Karl-Anthony Towns' insane shot will be one that is not forgotten in Minnesota for a long time.
