Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Karl-Anthony will be poised for another big season in 2021-22. However, it appears he watches some rather odd videos in order to get pumped before games.

Via Dane Moore:

Welp. We've gotta say, that's a bit weird. If the Timberwolves big man in fact watches that before every single game, that means a lot of gorillas have been sacrificed. But hey, I guess everyone has a different pre-game ritual. This is evidently how Towns gets amped to play.

While KAT and the Timberwolves finished towards the bottom of the Western Conference last season, there is optimism for the 2021-22 campaign. Anthony Edwards is coming off a fantastic rookie season, while D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and the newly acquired Patrick Beverley round out a nice core.

But, their success will ultimately come down to how good Towns will be. He averaged 24.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists for the Timberwolves on 38% shooting from downtown but only played in 50 games due to COVID-19 problems. Barring any injuries or health concerns, Towns should be in for another impressive campaign as he looks to potentially get Minnesota into a Play-In spot.

Those gorillas will surely play a big part in getting him hyped up, it seems. (RIP, Harambe.)
