Retired NBA superstar Kevin Garnett confirmed on Tuesday that he is one of the bidders interested in purchasing his former team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In an Instagram Story post, Garnett posted a screenshot of the news about Glen Taylor's interest in selling the Timberwolves. The Big Ticket then captioned the post with, “I'm one of the groups trying. LAWD PLSS LET MY GROUP GET THIS.”

Garnett spent the first 12 years of his NBA career in Minnesota, with the franchise selecting the Farragut Academy star out of high school with the fifth overall pick in the 1995 draft. Garnett later turned into a 10-time All-Star with the Timberwolves, taking them to the Western Conference Finals in the 2003-04 season — the same year he won the coveted MVP award.

A four-time rebounding leader with the Timberwolves, Minnesota traded Garnett to the Boston Celtics over the summer prior to the 2007-08 season.

Garnett later returned to the Wolves, much to the behest of then-head coach Flip Saunders, who passed away in October 2015. He retired after 21 seasons — the same as his iconic number worn in Minnesota — following the 2015-16 campaign.

For what it's worth, Taylor has had issues with Garnett. The two have not seen eye to eye since 2015, when Saunders was no longer around to mediate between the pair. KG has refused to allow his jersey retired by the organization under Taylor's stewardship.

Garnett, though, could see himself retire his own number in the near future should his group's bid win out and he becomes the principal owner of the Timberwolves.
