The Tennessee Titans are still celebrating after acquiring wide receiver Julio Jones in a blockbuster trade with the Atlanta Falcons to cement their offense as one of the best in the NFL. AJ Brown– the Titans star who actively recruited Jones to Tennessee with multiple social media pitches–dons number 11 for Tennessee. However, Brown admitted that he attempted to give Jones number 11, and the NFL veteran shut down the request.

Classy move by Brown. After all, Julio Jones has worn number 11 for his entire professional career with the Falcons and a sign of respect for Brown to offer it up to him.

Of course, the NFL new rule would allow Julio to sport his No. 8 jersey that he wore back in college at the University of Alabama, so that's certainly an option.

It's refreshing to see Brown and Jones already gelling, and the talented duo of the pair of wide receivers is already among the best– if not the best– in the entire league. The Titans' odds have jumped significantly in both the division and the Super Bowl race after the acquisition, and let's not forget about Derrick Henry who has torched the league in the last few seasons.

Nonetheless, the Titans will be a dangerous team, and the blockbuster trade of Julio Jones has them with legitimate title hopes.
