After deciding to part ways with Mike Vrabel, the Tennessee Titans are searching for their next head coach. If the Titans want to add a spark to their offense, adding one of Joe Burrow's right hand men.

Tennessee has contacted Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan for a second – and in-person – interview, via Dan Graziano of ESPN. Callahan had already conducted a virtual interview with the Titans.

Whoever ends up replacing Vrabel will have big shoes to fill. While the last few seasons didn't go to plan, Tennessee still saw massive success under their coach. The Titans made the the playoffs three times, winning the AFC South and advancing as far as the AFC Championship He was the 2021 Coach of the Year.

Still, with Tennessee missing the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, the Titans decided it was time to move on. Thus, the search to find his replacement has commenced.

Brian Callahan has been a hot name on the coaching market over the past few seasons. He has been the Bengals offensive coordinator since 2019. Previously, he served as the quarterbacks coach of the Detroit Lions and the then Oakland Raiders. Callahan has been a coach in the NFL since 2010.

In 2022, when Joe Burrow was healthy for an entire season, Cincinnati had the eighth-best offense in the NFL, averaging 360.5 yards per game. In 2023, the Titans had the 28th-ranked offense in the league, averaging 289 YPG.

Clearly Tennessee is in need of of an offensive rebrand and Brian Callahan could be the one to build. He isn't the only candidate in the Titans' search. However, with two interviews schedule, the team clearly thinks highly of what Callahan brings to the table.
