DeAndre Hopkins is officially a member of the Tennessee Titans as of Monday. Hopkins has passed his physical and signed his contract, reports NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

A huge move by the Titans is now officially complete, as DeAndre Hopkins gives Ryan Tannehill and Tennessee one of the top wideouts in the league. It is a very intriguing move by the Titans, especially given the nature of their offense.

Tannehill has never been one of the best QBs in the NFL and the Titans have historically had a run-first offense with Derrick Henry in the backfield. Hopkins will undoubtedly give the Titans a better passing attack, but many around the NFL believe there is only so far the Titans can go with Tannehill behind center.

For DeAndre Hopkins, his contract with the Titans will be an opportunity for him to prove he is as dominant as ever and can be one of the best regardless of where he plays. If Hopkins can put up elite numbers with the Titans than he certainly will be worth his contract; the Titans are simply not known for passing, so it would be quite the feat for Hopkins to come in and all of the sudden make Tennessee a pass-first offense.

It will also be interesting to see if Hopkins only catches passes from Tannehill this season. Tennessee drafted Malik Willis last year and Will Levis this year, so there is no doubt that Tennessee has some hungry young signal callers ready to take advantage of any mistakes made by Tannehill. Nevertheless, whoever is behind center will be very grateful that Hopkins is officially a member of their offense.
