Jadeveon Clowney is one of the premier free agents that remain unsigned in the NFL. According to NFL Network's Nate Burleson, Clowney would be a perfect fit for the Tennessee Titans in 2020.

During a segment on NFL Network's Good Morning Football, Burleson pinpointed the Titans as an ideal landing spot for Clowney, transcription via 24/7 Sports.

“Now imagine if you have a guy like Jadeveon Clowney that is big, fast, strong that you can drop into coverage or you can send him on the attack. I feel like a guy like Jadeveon Clowney in a Titans uniform would work perfectly. It might be what they need to get over that hump. I say, yes. I believe it.”

At the beginning of free agency, Clowney was seeking to garner a contract that would've made him one of the highest-paid defensive players in the NFL. However, after receiving little to no interest, it's believed that the Pro Bowl edge defender has since lowered his asking price.

Seeing that he's still unsigned, Clowney may be inclined to sign a one-year deal in 2020. In his lone season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019, Clowney produced just three sacks and four forced fumbles. Though, in his defense, he dealt with a nagging core injury during the season.

Throughout the offseason, the Titans signed former first-round pick Vic Beasley in hopes he could provide a boost to their pass rush. Despite the offseason they had, Tennessee still has $19.3 million in cap space remaining. Even Taylor Lewan has begun recruiting Clowney to the Titans.

Just this past season, Tennessee was able to advance to the AFC Championship game. After falling just one game short of reaching the Super Bowl, Clowney could be the difference-maker that the Titans need on defense.
