As was the case in previous years, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is off to one standout start to the season.

Henry is currently on track to win yet another rushing title, as he leads the NFL in rushing yards with 783 to go along with 10 rushing touchdowns. More so, he is also on pace for 28 rushing touchdowns, which would tie him with Hall of Fame running back LaDainian Tomlinson's campaign in 2006 for the most such touchdowns in a single season.

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to face off against the Titans in Week 7, and for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, he well knows that his team's defense will have much work to do in order to contain Henry.

In speaking ahead of the Chiefs' road contest with the current AFC South leaders, Mahomes lauded Henry with one standout compliment.

“I think he presents a challenge for everybody,” Mahomes said. “I mean he's one of the best running backs, to me, of all-time. The way he's able to run the football to get 20, 30 whatever 40 carries it is, and he comes back to next week, and he seems like he's just as fresh as the week before.

“He's a special talent who works his tail off to be who he is. So we understand this would be a great challenge for any defense to stop him. But we're going to try to do best we can at limit him as much as possible.”

There are not many players in NFL history who have garnered praise to be among the greatest of all-time at their respective position after a mere five full seasons in the league. But this is what Mahomes sees in Henry, who is currently featuring in his sixth season in the NFL.

Henry does have ways to go before he can be lauded by others as well in being one of the top all-time running backs who have ever played the sport. But with over 7,000 yards from scrimmage and 65 rushing touchdowns through six seasons, he sure is on track to do just that.
