The Tennessee Titans had no additional positives in Thursday's round of testing for COVID-19 ahead of their matchup against the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN insiders Dianna Russini and Adam Schefter.

This is good news for both teams, as well as the NFL. However, the Bills-Titans game, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, is now set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on CBS.

Whether or not Tuesday's matchup will be played out relies on more negative testing results. If the game is played, it means the Titans, who are hoping to get back in their training facility on Saturday afternoon, will play twice in six days. Buffalo, on the other hand, was originally scheduled for a Thursday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs. That matchup has now been pushed back to Sunday.

Notably, the Titans have racked up 23 positive tests since Sept. 24, which includes 13 players. There are some reports indicating that the NFL could look at punishing Tennessee for violating COVID-19 protocols. Some members of the team reportedly held a private workout while the organization was supposed to be on lockdown.

There are some who are calling for the Titans to forfeit their ensuing game against the Bills. If this comes to pass, we could see a scenario where neither team would be paid. Others argue that Tennessee should be punished for violating protocol.

For now, we'll have to wait and see if the Titans can continue to test negative in the coming days.
