Already missing the services of their starting point guard, Reggie Jackson, the Detroit Pistons will now add Tobias Harris and Aron Baynes to their growing list of players with injuries.

The two big men reportedly broke their noses in separate incidents. Harris broke his during the team's preseason game versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night while Baynes accidentally caught an elbow to his nose in Tuesday's practice.

This unfortunate development on both players comes after Marcus Morris, Stanley Johnson and Andre Drummond were all forced to miss some exhibition games due to different injuries or sickness.

The good news for the Motor City faithful is that even with broken noses, Harris and Baynes may still continue to play after they are fitted with protective masks they can wear during games. These masks are usually made from hard plastic that serves as a cushion against the impact of a possible hit in the injured area.

With a week to go before the start of the regular season, both of them can wear their masks during practices and start adjusting to it immediately. The Pistons cannot afford to see their big men sitting out an extended period of time as they have high aspirations this season, including making a trip back to the playoffs.
