Travis Kelce is “proud” of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, the Chiefs tight end told the Bussin' With The Boys podcast.
During an appearance on the Bussin' With The Boys podcast, Kelce was asked about his relationship with Swift. While privacy is nice, Kelce isn't interested in hiding his affinity for the singer.
“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I'm not here to hide anything,” Kelce said. “That's my girl. That's my lady. So I'm proud of that, I'm not sitting here trying to juggle, ‘How can I keep this under wraps?‘
“You just don't want to let everyone into your personal life and be able to comment on it knowing that everything she does is getting a headline,” Kelce continued.
The “craziest” adjustment for Kelce was the paparazzi showing up at his house. But his increase in popularity has been seen more crossover between Swifties and Chiefs fans.
“It's a different demographic than the NFL,” he explained. “It's been cool to dabble in that and see her following. And it's been fun because kids are way more into the game and the way the Chiefs fans have turned into a lot of her fans or her fans have turned into Chiefs fans.
“When you're at home you want privacy. But you don't always get that,” he added.
When Kelce fell for Swift
The driving force behind Kelce's love for Swift is her self-awareness. He discussed how she knows when it is his time to shine and lets him have his moments. Likewise, Kelce shows up to her “Eras” tour shows and supports her as well.
“She's very self-aware. She understands situations like that and I think that's why I started to really fall for her — how genuine she is around friends [and] family,” Kelce said. “It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool. I can admire [that] for sure.”
He then explained the first Chiefs game that Swift attended. Kelce had offered to set her up in a luxury suite with a private entrance. However, she ended up going right through the main gate to experience the game like a fan.
“She just walked right through the front door. There [was] no going down [and] talking to security making sure she gets to her [spot],” Kelce said. “She's just like, ‘I just wanna be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began dating in the fall of 2023. Swift showed up to several of the Chiefs games — 13, to be exact — including the Super Bowl. This began with their Week 3 game against the Chicago Bears.
Ranking his favorites of Swift's songs, he revealed: “Blank Space,” “Cruel Summer,” and “So High School” (for its “sentimental meaning”) as his top three.
Recently, Kelce made his on-stage “Eras” tour debut during Swift's June 23, 2024 show at Wembley Stadium in London, England. He performed the choreography during “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”
