After a heart-wrenching loss to OG in the finals of The International 10 EU Qualifiers, Tundra Esports' support player Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu typed out an emotional message to fans. He thanked several people and his team, then proceeded to apologize to the fans for his loss.

Tundra Esports was a favorite to win the EU qualifiers, remaining undefeated throughout the upper bracket. They defeated teams like Brame, Team Liquid, and even OG 2:0 before the finals. When it came time for their rematch, however, they gave the fans a very close series that went all the way to five games. Despite the remarkable showing at the qualifiers, Sneyking still felt sorry for disappointing the fans.

The first match of the series was a nearly hour-long affair where Tundra managed to claim victory thanks to huge plays from Leon “Nine” Kirilin and Neta “33” Shapira to beat out OG's Naga-centric draft. The second game was a fairly one-sided match, with Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan playing a dominating Terrorblade game. The third game went back Tundra's way, with Nine's mid-lane Winter Wyvern leading the way. OG claimed the fourth game with  SumaiL playing remarkably with a safe lane Templar Assassin and Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen with his signature mid Invoker. OG claimed their ticket to TI with SumaiL once again playing Templar Assassin – and this time not even dying once. Tundra's mid-lane Winter Wyvern pick just couldn't pull through for them in the last match with everything on the line.

Thus, Tundra Esport's dreams of taking the Aegis home this year were dashed. OG returns to defend their title and three of their players are up for a three-peat. The International 10 will run from October 7-17, in Bucharest, Romania.
