The Ball family was once again part of a lot of headlines on Monday, as news surfaced about LaVar Ball deciding to pull out his son, LiAngelo, from UCLA. However, that does not mean he’ll be neglected by Big Baller Brand, as their CEO made it known that his second son will also receive his own signature shoes.

Despite not going to play college ball anymore, BBB will reportedly make their third shoe line soon, which will be named “Gelo 3,” after the release of the ZO2s and Melo Ball 1s, according to ESPN’s Jovan Buha.

Now that LaVar Ball has pulled son LiAngelo Ball from UCLA, there are plans in place for a third Big Baller Brand sneaker alongside the ZO2 and Melo Ball 1. LiAngelo's eventual signature shoe will be called the “Gelo 3.”

LiAngelo Ball made a lot of news last month when he was arrested in China after getting busted for shoplifting inside a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou together with two of his former teammates. It resulted in getting detained, before finally being allowed to travel back to the country after a few days. He received a suspension from the Bruins, which LaVar felt was unfair to his son, leading to his withdrawal from the school.

No exact date has been reported yet for the release of the Gelo 3s, but it can be expected the BBB will make an announcement for it, including the amount they’ll sell them for. LaVar has never been shy to cause a stir when it comes to his family and brand, and the only question that remains is if the public will patronize the signature shoes or not, especially with an expensive price tag most likely be placed on it.
