Similar to his last bout against Poirier, McGregor seemed too confident and got caught by Poirier's punching power. We should see a more focused version of “Notorious” as he aims to redeem himself on Saturday night.
Keeping it on the feet is clearly the game plan for McGregor. That's his bread and butter, as he's one of the most prolific kickboxers in the game. He might have a slightly different approach heading into this one after getting caught in the first bout. Even so, we should see the same Conor McGregor we typically see in the octagon. If he can keep his distance and turn this into a kickboxing match, the advantage tilts in McGregor's favor.
