The main event of UFC 275 features an epic clash between current light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka. The fight has been known since Teixeira became champion back in October. The fight is a very interesting one as the champion represents light heavyweight's past whilst the challenger is the division's new school. The easy breakdown is Teixeira fights like a giant Khabib Nurmagomedov who uses his wrestling to maul opponents on the way to finding a finish. Prochazka is a wild striker that's not afraid to throw caution to the wind. The simple idea behind this fight is both men have a high chance to finish the other and the winner will be whoever imposes their will first. It should be a fun scrap and the division continues to move on from its past with Jon Jones dominating for over a decade and Daniel Cormier being the second-best light heavyweight beating everyone else. The championship is either going to Brazil or the Czech Republic and it's going to be a lot of fun.

Glover Teixeira has been on a career renaissance ever since he figured out that wrestling was a cheat code in the light heavyweight division. The Brazilian has been taking everyone down and beating them up until the finish presents itself. Teixeira became the UFC light heavyweight champion with the same strategy against Jan Blachowicz. He took down the Polish fighter and submitted him in a quick fashion. Teixeira used to be a very durable boxer with an excellent ground game in his ground game. The durability started to become a problem and the Brazilian had to switch up his style. Now, the Brazilian keeps things on his feet for a little bit before muscling his way to the ground. It's been a very effective style and only a few fighters have been able to deal with it. The Brazilian will be hoping that style translates at UFC 275 and that Jiri Prochazka becomes the latest victim.

Jiri Prochazka has only been in the UFC for two fights but he's convinced many that he's one of the best light heavyweights in the world. The Czech fighter is currently on an incredible ten-fight knockout streak dating back to September 2017. The last loss Prochazka took was to Muhammad Lawal back in 2015. That was seven years ago and Lawal has been retired for almost three years now. Prochazka is currently in his prime and he's been knocking out high-level fighters and doing it in style. The question is if he'll be able to get his hands on Glover Teixeira and keep things on the feet long enough to land the knockout. He can be hurt, something that showed in his last fight against Dominick Reyes. That being said, his power is real and many are excited to see if he can become the next UFC light heavyweight champion.
