Dustin Poirier might be focused on capturing the lightweight title on Saturday night at UFC 269 against Charles Oliviera, but he hasn't forgotten about his sheer hate for Conor McGregor.

Poirier wouldn't promise a fourth fight with the Irishman but also said their feud will never be over after the things McGregor said about his family. Via TMZ Sports:

“Nah, the chapter will never be closed,”

“I don't know [about a 4th fight], we'll see what happens. [Conor and I are] in 2 completely different spots if I get my hand on this UFC belt.”

As we all remember, McGregor shattered his leg this past summer against Poirier and had to forfeit the fight. He's certainly looking for a rematch with his rival, too. There's no doubt about that.

Poirier is strictly focused on UFC 269 though and taking down one of the most electric fighters in the lightweight division in Oliviera. The Brazilian is currently the champion after beating Michael Chandler for the belt, but Poirier is a whole different beast.

If Poirier can win Saturday's bout in the Octagon, he'll become an undisputed UFC champion for the first time. As for Oliviera, well, the road to truly becoming the best lightweight goes through Poirier.

Needless to say, Dustin Poirier isn't worried about Conor McGregor right now and if he comes out victorious in UFC 269, it's safe to say Poirier will be far above his foe.
