Tony Ferguson is set to take on rising star, Paddy Pimblett in what is a highly anticipated matchup. However, the UFC star is facing some legal issues after getting into a car crash back in May.
Ferguson is not going to be serving any jail time for the alleged incident. However, he will be serving a one-year-long probation, according to TMZ Sports.

According to court records, Ferguson was tagged with the punishment on Nov. 20, after reaching an agreement with prosecutors.”Originally, the UFC veteran was given a DUI charge. Ferguson reportedly crashed his truck into another vehicle. It was flipped onto its side. Luckily, nobody was injured in the crash. Since then, his DUI charge has been dropped.
“The records show as part of the deal with officials, Ferguson pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of wet reckless driving upon a highway. In exchange, his DUI charge was dismissed.”
With that said, Tony Ferguson finally has this situation behind him and just has to serve his probation for the next year. It's not ideal, however, it could have been a whole lot worse.
Ferguson is currently on a six-fight losing streak. He hopes to get back on track against Paddy Pimblett on December 16. A win probably keeps him in the UFC for a bit longer, as he claims he doesn't want to retire. Even so, a seventh consecutive loss won't bode well for him.
