UFC fighter pay continues to be a hot topic in the sport and one that Dana White is tired of hearing about. Jake Paul has fired shots at the UFC President regarding the subject and it is one that the media speaks about often.

Dana White recently went off on the payout boxers receive on the prelims of their bouts as the main event fighters are paid extremely well. The UFC President had an example from the most recent UFC event.

He did an interview before UFC 268 on Pardon My Take where they discussed fighter pay. Dana White brought up an example from two events that were going down that weekend.

“You know this kid (Badou) Jack, former world champion. He’s fighting this weekend in the middle east, and he’s making $75k, okay? A guy who’s on the prelims, never been a world champion, and I won’t mention his name, is making $750,000,” White said

It isn't clear who the fighter from UFC 268 is although there has been plenty of speculation. Some are saying it is a fighter from the main card and White is referring to ‘prelim' as not in the main event.

There has been word it could be Michael Chandler although that is currently awaiting confirmation. The subject is an incredibly tricky one.

There is no doubt that fighter pay is a big subject in both sports and that it is an issue many people want to see resolved. Although it appears a fighter from UFC 268 is quite happy.
