Paddy Pimblett has been big on fighter pay for a long time and he has made it clear ever since he signed with the UFC. The Liverpool native has been very clear he would fight appropriate competition based on his pay. He recently spoke about Jake Paul attempting to help with fighter pay.

Jake Paul has been very publicly going after Dana White and he has claimed he wants to help UFC fighters get paid more. The YouTuber turned boxer has many people hoping that he's telling the truth and actually wants to benefit fighters.

Paddy Pimblett isn't so sure Jake Paul actually wants what's best for fighters. The UFC lightweight recently spoke out about the subject on his podcast.

“I’ll be honest that’s the thing that’s pissing me off about it lad, he’s trying to act like a martyr, like he’s helping MMA fighters – he’s not, lad,” the UFC lightweight said. “He’s just doing that for his own publicity. People are like ‘he’s actually being good for MMA fighters’, he’s not. He just wants to make a show of Dana White and that’s the perfect way of doing it. It’s all about that. The way he’s saying ‘I’m gonna end up getting in the cage’, you’re not, lad. You’re not. Stop lying. If you wanna have an MMA fight, I’ll fight you in me ma’s garden tomorrow. Know what I mean?”

It will have to be seen what Jake Paul's true motivation is regarding his involvement with the UFC and Dana White. The opinions on the situation appear to be split so far.
