Throughout the night X has been buzzing after the announcement made by Dana White that Jon Jones has been injured during fight camp and is now out of his main event fight at UFC 295.
While you (ok, I) were sleeping:
Jon Jones is out of UFC 295 due to injury.
As a result, it’s now Tommy Aspinall x Sergei Pavlovich for the interim heavyweight title on Nov. 11 at MSG.
The main event will now be Jiří Procházka x Alex Pereira.

This has sent the MMA world into a frenzy as many were ready to sink their teeth into a heavyweight title fight that pitted two living UFC legends against one another just two weeks away. Now, they will have to settle for arguably the two best heavyweight contenders outside of the champion Jon Jones battling it out for the interim strap.
The new main event for the light heavyweight championship between Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira paired with the new co-main event for the interim heavyweight championship between Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall sets UFC 295 to be an absolutely stacked event on November 11th at Madison Square Garden.
