Former YouTube streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter shocked by Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys’ unban request forms on Twitch when she guested in her stream. Valkyrae, like Pokimane, is one of the biggest girl streamers in the industry despite moving to another streaming platform. Having said that, she was bothered and shocked to see how much hate her friend was experiencing after the recent incident, pertaining to a hate raid by content creator JiDion. Hofstetter didn't experience this much generated hate from her streams. She couldn't imagine what her friend Pokimane was going through.

The 100 Thieves co-owner made a guest appearance in her friend Pokimane's live stream last January 26. They decided to look at the unban requests that Pokimane's stream has amassed. As you inferred, all of them were so much hate towards the girl streamer. All of them followed the hate raid, being rude or vulgar towards the female streamer. There were a total of around 15,000 requests before they already deleted but Valkyrae only saw 4000 requests. Pokimane showed her how many pages filled up her unban requests, which mostly were still a lot of hate comments towards the streamer. Thanks to Pokimane's moderators, they controlled her chat almost everyday, but imagine how many people they need to ban daily.

The issue already died down however the effect of it is still prominent. There has to be something done by the platform at this point to hinder such hateful comments done by the community. Valkyrae would return to streaming, expected by January 31. Hopefully we do not see her as well experience this type of hardship. Nobody should experience this much hate by a lot of people
