Former NBA player Glen Davis, who was reportedly arrested on drug charges, responded to the allegations via a video message.

As posted by Yahoo Sports NBA, Davis said:

“Do not believe all that sh*t on the internet. I will have my day in court. They just mad 'cause a black man got money, man.”

Below is the full video, originally posted on Davis' Instagram account which has since been deleted. It shows Big Baby eating chicken, on a plane. Beside him is a briefcase with bundles of money and what apparently is his championship ring which he won with the Celtics:

According to a report by the Associated Press posted on ESPN.com, Davis was arrested in a Maryland hotel last month, following alleged drug possession and distribution charges.

Davis was arrested on Feb. 7 at a Hampton Inn in Aberdeen. Court records reveal that the owner of the hotel sensed marijuana smoke coming from Davis' room. The police raided the room and found 126 grams of marijuana and a briefcase with $92,000 in cash. Davis was arrested and subsequently indicted on seven counts of drug possession and distribution.

Davis, who spent nine years in the NBA, was drafted 35th overall in 2007. He played for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, and the L.A. Clippers. But he may be well-known for his stint with the Celtics where he won a championship with NBA legends Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce.

For his career, Davis averaged 8 points and snagged 2.3 rebounds per contest.

While his day in court will indeed come, all the evidence in his video are pointing to the fact that Davis is definitely high — on Popeye's Chicken.
