Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns is mostly known for his solid post fundamentals. But in one possession against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, KAT showed off his vision and arm with a nasty bullet pass to rookie Anthony Edwards.

Towns was just a step ahead of everyone. Only he knew that Edwards was all alone in the short corner for the downtown bomb. Not only was Towns' pass as fast as a bullet, it was right on the money as well.

The pass was the only assist of Towns to go along with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Edwards, meanwhile, had 24 points and five rebounds. Unfortunately for the Timberwolves, they lost 118-99, making it eight consecutive defeats. They now have a 7-28 record for last place in the entire NBA.

They still have a chance to turn things around with a ton of games left. But they have to dig down deep to be able to at least qualify for the last spot in the NBA Playoffs in the ultra-competitive Western Conference.

The good thing is that Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards seem to have great chemistry. All they need is a few more games and some guidance to further build their partnership. Who knows, they might turn out to be one heck of a one-two punch in the future.
