Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers heaped praises for Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.

Rivers said on ESPN that the Warriors are a great team because of the mix of talent and cooperation between the players and the coach. However, the veteran head coach feels that Curry is not getting the credit that he deserves, as he is often overlooked because of the abundance of talent in the Bay Area.

“I don't think we give him enough credit,” Rivers said. “We keep not talking about him being in the top four or five players. What he did has never really been done.”

Rivers was referring to how Curry changed his game and bought into the system of head coach Steve Kerr. The one-time NBA champion coach that the Warriors were relying too much on Curry before, but Kerr convinced him to buy into their new system.

In turn, Curry had the ball in his hands less, as they relied on ball and player movement, resulting into a beautiful offensive system for the Warriors. The players also learned to trust each other and their coaches. And despite not having the ball in his hands a lot, Curry managed to win two MVP awards and three NBA titles in four years.
