The Boston Globe recently published an inexcusable error by mistakenly using a photo of retired big man David Lee in place of Andrew Bogut. Lee came across the epic blunder, and he took to Instagram to share his rather suspicious reaction to the same:

That's a pretty embarrassing mistake from the folks of the esteemed newspaper publication. While both men were teammates for several years with the Golden State Warriors, they look nothing alike. The only thing they have in common is they are large Caucasian men.

Anybody with at least some casual basketball knowledge would have an easy time telling these two players apart, so it is quite inexplicable how this came about. Moreover, the Warriors have been the most popular team in the league in the past half-decade, so recognizing their players does not really require an NBA guru.

Going even further, Lee played for the Boston Celtics during the 2015-16 season, so it looks even worse that the local paper got this wrong.

Lee and Bogut shared the court in Oakland between 2012 and 2015. Both guys played pivotal roles during the Warriors' championship run in the 2014-15 season, which happens to be the only title either guys have won in their entire careers.

Bogut, however, will have another shot at a second championship ring, after recently agreeing to terms with the Warriors for a reunion. The 34-year-old veteran is coming off an MVP season in the local league in his native Australia, but he is likely looking at a minimal role in the Warriors' rotation for the rest of the season.
