It looks like Golden State Warriors rookie Moses Moody will not have a hard time getting along with his new teammates, particularly with Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Moody, who was selected by the Warriors with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, admitted he received a message from Green right after he was drafted. Both players are represented by Klutch Sports though, so the relationship they already have is not surprising.

Per Kendra Andrews of NBC Sports Bay Area, Moody also had interactions with Curry and Thompson when he was working out with the Dubs prior to the annual rookie selection.

For what it's worth, Draymond Green apparently had his fingerprints on the Moses Moody selection. The Warriors already liked the 19-year-old shooting guard, but the Golden State vet texted Bob Myers and suggested the pick when the youngster appeared to be still available at No. 14 on Thursday night.

It's definitely a good start for Moody and the Warriors. After all, Golden State had the former Arkansas Razorback as one of their targets at No. 7. They used the pick to get Jonathan Kuminga deemed to have a higher upside, but as lady luck smiled on them, they got both players they wanted.

Of course Moody still have a lot to work on to get his place in the team. However, he is well aware of it and is ready to show what he can bring to the table.

“Given how great they are — in that environment, I have no choice but to get better … I'm extremely excited. I'm just glad to be part of a winning program,” Moody said, per Drew Shiller of NBC Sports.
