Draymond Green finally returned to action on Monday for the Golden State Warriors for the first time since January. The former Defensive Player of the Year winner missed a total of 29 games for the Dubs due to a lingering back injury and he's now worked his way back to action after a lengthy layoff.

The Warriors were hosting the Washington Wizards on Monday night and the adoring home crowd was absolutely thrilled to see Green check into the game for the first time in the opening period. Unsurprisingly, the Dubs star received a warm welcome from Dub Nation (h/t NBA TV on Twitter):

Chase Center was rocking as they welcomed Dray back into the fold. Green could not have returned in a more opportune time for the Warriors, who are now on the rise again after their post-All-Star break slump. The Dubs entered Monday's contest on a three-game winning streak after going 1-5 in their previous six games.

There aren't too many players in the league who have such a major impact on their squad quite like Green. Now that he's back, the Warriors should establish themselves as a real threat in the West yet again. Don't look now, but this team is about to take the league by storm. Hopefully.
