Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are still riding high after their championship win earlier this month. The team that picks up the last win of the season always gets the last laugh.

The Warriors star took that quite literally in his recent appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Draymond was asked about what fuels him to keep going and add to his already extensive trophy collection, he responded with a quick mention of forever frenemy LeBron James:

“Well, LeBron has four and if I get five I'm the greatest ever, right?” said the Warriors star.

Despite the tongue-in-cheek jab, Draymond Green has the utmost respect for LeBron James. He recently spoke out against Skip Bayless and Kendrick Perkins for their comments against the Los Angeles Lakers star in an impassioned rant on his podcast.

LeBron James even congratulated Draymond personally when the Warriors sealed their championship win over the Boston Celtics in six games, giving him a call and posting on Instagram as well.

While nobody in the current NBA can go after the King anytime soon, Draymond Green's teammate Stephen Curry can certainly make it interesting if he manages to win a couple more championship rings with the Warriors.
