The alleged encounter between Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson in a Los Angeles club has been gaining traction on social media for some time now. However, there are still no direct comments about what really happened from the two big men. When ESPN's Marc J. Spears asked Green about the altercation in an interview for The Undefeated, the Warriors big man had no interest in talking about it.

“I don’t feel the need to respond or go into detail on that. That ain’t for me to do.”

There are conflicting reports about just what went down. We know Green and Thompson went at each other during the NBA Finals, and Draymond took some jabs at the Warriors' championship parade. At the end of July, rumors began to spread about another incident. Jason McIntyre of Fox Sports initially reported about the altercation.

The story has since taken on a life of its own. The Athletic's Marcus Thompson reported the encounter happened after the ESPYs at a party thrown by LeBron James, and there were several descriptions of  how Tristan Thompson allegedly attacked Green. One called it a “sucker punch,” while another called it a “face mush.” LeBron reportedly joined forces with Kevin Durant to pacify the situation.

Now weeks after the alleged fight happened, the public still has yet to receive conclusive remarks from the players involved, and it may never happen.
