James Wiseman of the Golden State Warriors has now hit another setback in his recovery from his meniscus injury as he now enters the league's health and safety protocols. He still doesn't have a return date, so this hasn't altered when he is going to come back and play, but it could now take an extra week or so until he's out of the protocols because he was still getting ramped up to try to make a full recovery from his injury.

This is a bummer for the Warriors because they're hoping to get Wiseman back sooner rather than later so he can finally get more reps and provide a bit more rim protection down low. Golden State has still found plenty of success this season without him, boasting a 27-7 record that's tied for the NBA's best. Fortunately for Golden State, Jordan Poole is now out of the protocols and will return on Thursday night against the Denver Nuggets.

Golden State has had some fortunate luck throughout the year in terms of players in the protocols, but it looks like it is starting to hit their organization now. This wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing in the world considering that they are at the top of the Western Conference, but, obviously, no team wants to have to deal with missing players for an extended period of time.
