Kevin Durant has been out the last three games with a calf injury. And while the Golden State Warriors didn't really skip a beat in his absence, they will be glad to welcome him back.

Durant has been listed as probable to play against the L.A. Clippers on Wednesday, per Marc J. Spears of the Undefeated.

The Warriors won all three games without Durant. In one of those, Stephen Curry went off for 45 points and didn't even have to play in the fourth quarter.

By no means does that mean the Warriors don't need Durant. He helped them win a championship last year, and this year as upped his defensive game so much that people are considering him for Defensive Player of the Year.

Durant is averaging 25.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists so far this season. He's also shooting over 50 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range, per Basketball Reference.

After three games of being out, Durant may experience some rust. That becomes even more of a possibility because he hurt a portion of his leg, which probably left him unable to run much if at all during the time he wasn't playing. Fans should not be surprised if Durant comes out early or misses a few shots in the early portions of the game.

Nevertheless, having Durant is always preferable to not having him, even if he comes out a little sluggish due to his time off. The sliver lining here is Durant also got some rest, something that he probably needs after two consecutive years of deep playoff runs, with another certainly coming this spring.
