Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson has a corner locker in the Dubs' new locker room after not responding to owner Joe Lacob's text.

The Warriors, who are playing in the Chase Center in San Francisco this upcoming season, gave a tour of the new Biofreeze Performance Center earlier this week, where Connor Letourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle learned about Thompson's locker location:

When handing out locker-room stalls, Lacob gave the elder statesmen first pick. Stephen Curry picked one toward the center, and (Draymond) Green chose a corner locker. Klay Thompson never responded, so Lacob gave him one of the three remaining corner lockers.

Thompson has been enjoying his summer with his girlfriend, actress Laura Harrier, so the Warriors star probably wasn't that motivated to respond to Joe Lacob's text.

On a more serious note, the Dubs are going to be cautious with Thompson in his ACL recovery since they gave him a five-year max contract this summer worth $190 million. Klay’s long-term health is very important to the organization.

Thompson averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Warriors last season.

The five-time All-Star shot 46.7 percent from the field, 40.2 percent from beyond the arc and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line.
