In 50 games this season for Golden State, Klay Thompson is averaging 21.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. The now five-time All-Star is shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 37.9 percent from beyond the arc and 80.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Swingman Alfonzo McKinnie will start for Thompson, according to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. McKinnie is 6-foot-8, so if he's tasked with guarding Butler, he should be able to do a decent job.
The Warriors enter Thursday with a record of 36-14, good for first place in the Western Conference standings. The Dubs are currently on an 11-game winning streak and look impossible to defeat right now.
Thursday night will be the first game of the season that Klay Thompson won't play for the Warriors.
