There's no debating that NBA debates won't end. A recent remark by a former MVP candidate might raise some eyebrows after he declared Stephen Curry as the best point guard in NBA history.

He chose Curry over Magic Johnson, who's widely recognized as the GOAT PG. The Golden State Warriors sharpshooter was also picked over other luminaries such as Isiah Thomas, John Stockton, and Steve Nash just to name a few.

Appearing on TNT's NBA Twitter Live, two-time All-Star Isaiah Thomas explained why he named Curry as the greatest point guard to step foot in the NBA.

“Dang, that's tough. I'm gonna go with Steph Curry. Changed the game of basketball on every level. On every level in the whole world.”

Hard to mess with that.

At this point, nobody's denying Curry changed the game. Arguing against that would be like arguing against pizza. It would be implausible. But while Curry has the accolades—three titles, two MVPs, seven All-Star selections—some believe Magic still has the edge in terms of overall legacy. After all, he made the NBA relevant again when it was heavily struggling in the early 80s.

But IT, who finished fifth in the MVP race in 2017 with the Boston Celtics, has played against Curry a lot. So he sure knows the strengths of the former Davidson standout.

Stephen Curry will forever be in the greatest PG conversations. If his performance this season is any indication, it's obvious he's far from done. So let the debates continue. But please, let's all agree on this: Pizza is good.
