The Golden State Warriors suffered only their third loss of the season on Tuesday following a disappointing loss against a surging Phoenix Suns side. These two teams go at it again on Friday in a highly anticipated rematch and it sounds like the Dubs are getting some reinforcement for that tilt.

Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports that 6-foot-5 shooting guard Damion Lee is expected to return to action for the Dubs on Friday:

Lee has missed the last three games for the Warriors due to personal reasons. The 29-year-old missed time to attend to the birth of his child, but he's now ready to take his spot in the rotation after roughly one week on the sidelines.

Lee is by no means a star, but he has proven to be a key piece for Steve Kerr's rotation. Lee had a strong start to the season, averaging 14.2 points in 27.9 minutes in the Warriors' first five games of the campaign. He was in a bit of a slump prior to his leave of absence, but he should still be able to provide some quality minutes off the bench for Golden State.

Friday will be a tough test for Stephen Curry and Co. as they attempt to put an end to Phoenix's 17-game winning streak. The Suns just overtook the Warriors for the top spot in the Western Conference and the Dubs will definitely want to reclaim their spot.
