LeBron James and Stephen Curry have had a ton of postseason battles as the Golden State Warriors dynasty dominated the last decade, with the Cleveland Cavaliers spoiling a 4-peat with their memorable win in 2016.

While you hope to see more battles down the line, this game has a non-zero chance of being their final playoff clash. Both stars are barreling towards the end of their careers, with James already in his 18th season and counting.

For James and Curry to square off again this year, they’d both have to pull off incredible upsets to become the first 7th and 8th seeds to make the Western Conference Finals. It’s not impossible, but it’s admittedly pretty unlikely.

But the Warriors first need to overcome the Memphis Grizzlies and their own star point guard in Ja Morant. The Grizz took care of business against the San Antonio Spurs to get another crack at Golden State.
