Despite the Golden State Warriors' surprisingly bad start to the 2021 season, Stephen Curry provided some positives on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls.

Coming into the game, Curry was on a massive free throw streak. With a few more made free throws, he set a new Warriors milestone by surpassing Rick Barry for the most consecutive free throws made in franchise history with 61.

Considering Curry's success in the NBA, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he set another Warriors record–especially at the free throw line.

Curry is a career 90 percent free throw shooter. It's almost surprising that he hasn't set the all-time NBA record for consecutive free throws made, currently held by Michael Williams who made 97 straight free throws in 1993.

Would it be surprising if Curry breaks that record? Absolutely not.

After a video surfaced this week of Stephen Curry making 105 consecutive 3-pointers, a free throw streak doesn't even seem like a challenge.

Curry will need to do more than just hit free throws if he wants to lead the Warriors to the playoffs, however.

The Warriors look like they desperately miss the two-way elite play of Klay Thompson on the floor and will need Curry to elevate his game back to an MVP level if they want to compete.

For now, fans can appreciate the shooting greatness of Steph.
