Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says the Currys are “the royal family of the NBA.”
Warriors star Stephen Curry will square off against his brother, Portland Trail Blazers guard, Seth Curry in the Western Conference Finals. Steph and Seth's father, Dell Curry, is one of the best shooters of all-time and currently the Charlotte Hornets' TV broadcaster.
Dell and Sonya Curry have to be proud of their sons. This Western Conference Finals is going to be a special moment for them to watch, as Steph and Seth battle it out.
The Warriors are playing in their fifth consecutive Western Conference Finals. Steph scored 33 points in Game 6 against the Houston Rockets in the absence of Kevin Durant. All 33 of Steph's points came in the second half. He's averaging 24.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists in the playoffs while shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from beyond the arc and 94.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Seth, meanwhile, is putting up 5.4 points for the Blazers. He's shooting 37.3 percent overall and 41.7 percent from the 3-point line. Seth told reporters after the Blazers' Game 7 win over the Denver Nuggets that Steph texted to say he'll see him on Tuesday. That's when Game 1 between Golden State and Portland takes place.
