Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was evidently impressed and heaped praise on veteran forward Draymond Green after their recent victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Kerr claimed that Green's performance in the game reminded him of the ‘old Draymond' that's does everything for his squad, via Connor Letourneau.

Despite not tallying huge numbers across the stat sheet, Green still managed to leave his imprint on the game against the Lakers like he usually does. On Monday, it looked like the reigning world champions are going to cruise to another easy victory as they ended the first quarter with a 34-22 lead. However, the Warriors got back on track midway through the game to inch closer to their opponents.

Steve Kerr and his squad continued to ride their momentum and rallied from 14 points down in the fourth quarter. Stephen Curry's clutch three-point basket over Anthony Davis in the final minute eventually lifted the Warriors to a 115-113 victory over the Lakers.

Draymond Green was instrumental in the team's win as he contributed in several areas with tallies of seven points, eight rebounds, and nine assists. Curry led the team with 26 points and seven assists while Kelly Oubre came out with a huge performance of 23 points.

The Warriors now improve to a 7-6 record while the Lakers dropped to an 11-4 tally but they still remain in possession of the top spot in the Western Conference. Another all-around performance is expected from Draymond Green as the Warriors host the San Antonio Spurs on Jan. 20.
