SAN FRANCISCO – One of the most pleasant stories of the Golden State Warriors' season is the development of third-year guard Jordan Poole. The 22-year-old has shown how versatile and reliable he can be all season. His rapid development has been an enormous part of the Dubs’ success.
It isn't a surpris,e either. The confident youngster is doing everything right, and teammate Klay Thompson loves it. After practice, he talked about the areas he's witnessed Poole grow.
“Jordan [Poole] has gotten so much better in every aspect of being a basketball player,” Thompson said. “For him, to take that leap from sophomore to a third-year starter, it's really awesome. It's a testament to his hard work that I've seen every day.”

Steve Kerr constantly talks about how coachable Poole is, and that's likely a huge reason he's succeeding in the NBA. In a recent interview, Kerr shared that he doesn't think Poole should be aiming for being the Sixth Man of the Year. He feels he should chase being an All-Star because he's that talented.
Now that Stephen Curry is out for at least two weeks, Poole will get the chance to be Golden State's top dog. The Warriors need him more than ever, and his success will be huge in deciding where they end up in the playoff race.
