Thanks to the referee, the Golden State Warriors got an easy fast-break layup.

In the clip posted by Dime, an errant pass by the Orlando Magic headed straight to the referee. The official wasn't able to get out the way and it bounced right off him but the ball remained in bounds.

Almost everyone thought that it was some type of violation so they just stood there waiting. Little did they know that the play is still going on. Before they knew it, the Warriors were already down on the other side of the court for a layup.

However, it was the Magic who had the last laugh. They came up with the upset, 103-96. Aaron Gordon led the way with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Terrence Ross dropped 16 points and five assists, D.J. Augustin had 14 points, and Jonathan Isaac and Nikola Vucevic had 12 points each.

As a team, the Magic shot 44.9 percent, as opposed to the Warriors 40.2 percent clip. The defending champions also had a rough night from  3-point country, 22.5 percent

The Warriors have now lost two straight games. They will have a chance to redeem themselves on Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Magic, meanwhile, have won seven of their last 10 games and are making a run at the playoffs. They'll visit the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.
