Modern video games will have modern system requirements, even more so if it's a AAA title. Tekken 8 is no exception, as the revealed Tekken 8 PC requirements will make you consider an upgrade.

Tekken 8 PC System Requirements

The Tekken 8 system requirements for PC are found on its Steam page. There is also an additional note from Bandai Namco Entertainment, saying that when players first launch the game, the “stable over 60” frames per second option will be selected by default. They also issue a warning that the framerate may drop with other applications in the background.

Katsuhiro Harada also confirmed that Tekken 8 will not have Denuvo, writing “I've no plans to introduce Denuvo or anything else in TEKKEN8 so stop your tedious allergic reactions to every single thing & sit quietly” after a user pointed out that the End-User License Agreement for Tekken 8 included mentions of Denuvo.

Most of these are not surprising, especially on the graphics card side. According to the most recent Steam Hardware & Software Survey, the most common video card amongst gamers is the RTX 3060, despite it taking an almost 5% hit to its share from 9.92% in the previous month. This is beyond the recommended GPU for Tekken 8. The second most popular graphics card is the GTX 1650 with 4.76% of Steam users having it, and meets the minimum system requirements.

The 100 GB storage requirement is what has been turning heads in the community, especially since it has been the norm to also recommend SSDs for modern games. While this doesn't mean that it will not be playable on HDDs, a far better experience could be had from an SSD. For reference, Tekken 7 requires 60 GB of space for just the base game sans DLCs.
