Carmella was the first winner of the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the second winner of the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and the first female Money in the Bank winner to defend a title at the Pay-Per-View; if anyone knows how to put on a show at WWE‘s green, white, and gold themed Pay-Per-View, it's Mella.

And yet, despite earning her way into a match for the RAW Women's Championship after Rhea Ripley had to drop out due to injury, it was Bianca Belair, the current belt holder, who had all of the momentum coming into the Vegas-based match.

The duo went back and forth, with Corey Graves cheering on his wife as only an incredibly biased heel broadcaster can, and for a time, his hype looked real, but as the match pushed on, Mella's heelish holds and superkicks couldn't overcome Belair's championship pedigree, as the EST of WWE took over the match at the end and put her away with the KOD.

Had that been the end of things, it would have been a fine way to close out the match but unfortunately for Belair, Mella didn't want to take her loss lying down as the ref tapped 1-2-3. No, she bounced back to her feet and started beating down on her foe, leaving the arena with comments on how Belair is the cheapest and laziest member of the WWE Universe. Fortunately or not, this does not appear to be the end of this newfound feud one bit.
