With Forbidden Door rapidly approaching, performers in AEW, New Japan, CMLL, and beyond have been politiking left and right to land on one of the most interesting shows of the year, including NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd… only, he isn't looking to take on a member of AEW, NJPW, or even CMLL.

That's right, in an interview with WRESTHINGS, Kidd let it be known that he doesn't want a shot at any of the usual suspects at Forbidden Door but instead wants to really cross things over a few months later at Wrestle Kingdom 19, offering a match against the “Legend Killer” Randy Orton if he can get up the courage to book a flight to Japan next January.

“I'll say this right now, you want to talk about a real Forbidden Door, let's open it. I'll f**king put this out there right now. Wrestle Kingdom 19, I want Randy Orton one on one. I'm saying that right now. He had a bit of beef with Will Ospreay back in the day, he didn't do s**t about it. Randy Orton, I want you one on one,” Gabe Kidd told WRESTHINGS via 411 Mania. “You want to open the real Forbidden Door? I don't give a f**k about AEW. I'll deal with them when I go there. I'll deal with them at the official Forbidden Door. Wrestle Kingdom 19, I want Randy Orton. Look at me. I'm the legend killer now. I killed [Hiroshi] Tanahashi, I'm gonna kill off Shingo [Takagi], I'm gonna kill off all these Japanese legends, then I'm coming for your head. Don't get it twisted, I will f**k up Randy Orton.”

Alright, will Orton actually cross through the Forbidden Door to challenge him at Wrestle Kingdom 19? No, probably not, but Kidd wasn't done, as he decided to take a shot at the tippy-top guy in WWE, the “Final Boss,” if you will: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Hey, f**k The Rock as well. I'll beat the s**t out of The Rock,” Kidd declared.” “I'll slap the s**t out of The Rock, little part-timer. You want some real wrestling, come to New Japan.”

You know, you really have to give it to Kidd; when he gets an idea, he sticks with it, and even when the idea is implausible, he will go all-in on it like his life depends on it. While that shark-like mentality might not always serve him well, in the end, it's a big reason why he's one of the most entertaining men in the wrestling world today.

Gabe Kidd has a very interesting way of getting fired up to wrestle.

Elsewhere in his interview with WRESTHINGS, Gabe Kidd talked about what gets him excited for a match in relation to his time wrestling HENARE, Will Ospreay, and the rest of the United Empire in their steel cage match at NJPW New Beginning in Osaka. While Kidd didn't do anything special to get ready for the match, he did explain what gets him going in the wrestling mindset, which, um, needs to be seen to be believed.

“No because whatever you think's going to happen doesn't happen, so you can't prepare yourself for that. You think HENARE can prepare that I was going to lob a table at his head? No. There's too much, I was not in that match for half of it because to be fair to that f**ker, that was the hardest I've ever been hit, and I was gone after that. I did not know where I was. I seen Dan, I was like, ‘Where the f**k am I? What is going on right now?' I had to recoup myself and finish it. But if you're, you can't,” Gabe Kidd told WRESTHINGS via Fightful.

“Listen, I get myself worked up before matches. When I go out there, I am a madman. I am crazy. Like I said, it's me getting everything out of my system and just going balls to the wall, crazy, work ethic, beating the f**k out of everyone. But sometimes, I don't expect people to bring it like I'm going to bring it, so you can't fathom, and that's the best part about it. That's what gets my d**k hard because that s**t, not knowing what's gonna… something happens, you get caught with something, then you're like, ‘Alright, motherf**ker. Now we're on.' Then you get a b**er. It's like a magnum in my system.”

Welp, there you go, folks; Kidd is as crass as he is entertaining, and it truly feels like he will do just about anything to get where he wants to be in the wrestling ring, which, considering the success he's achieved in the ring so far, is a lot.
