Becky Lynch wants to take part in WWE‘s Money in the Bank.

Okay, technically, Lynch wants to win back the Raw Women's Championship, which she most recently held in April in her second reign, but after losing to Bianca Belair on 16 occasions – if you count house shows – and then failing to secure a title shot at the Money in the Bank premium event via the women's fatal five-way, getting the briefcase was the easiest, most logical way to get a statistical advantage in her pursuit.

Unfortunately, after taking the ring versus her current rival, Asuka, in the main event of RAW, Lynch is going to have to get creative in her pursuit of a spot in the match, as it won't be coming via pinfall victory.

The match started off well enough for Lynch; after making her way to the ring and hanging out while her music played for quite a long time in the house, she got the jump on Asuka when “The Empress of Tomorrow” walked down to the ring and began to brawl with the former RAW Women's Champion outside of the squared circle. While the match did eventually get into the ring, the hits were no less hard, and things genuinely looked like they could go either way… at least until the momentum fully fell into Asuka's court and she secured the 1-2-3 via a superkick to the head for a clean pin in the center of the ring.

Are Becky Lynch's heel-ish ways finally getting the best of her, or does “The Man” have a plan in place to come out on top in the end? Fortunately, fans will find out soon enough, as Money in the Bank is mere weeks away.
