In the WWE, superstar names are a rather fickle thing. It's not uncommon for wrestlers to change their in-ring name to better fit a character they're playing. The ever-changing nature of these kayfabe names make it hard for some promoters to keep up with their materials, as we found out recently.

WWE fans were quick to point out two hilarious botches in a promotion for a house show in Atlantic City. The wrestlers involved were Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Asuka, who had their names “changed” to Seth “Franklin” Rollins and Ashule, respectively. Talk about one hell of a botch! (via Wrestling News)

Well, that's certainly… embarrassing. Seth “Franklin” Rollins could be forgiven somewhat, as it's pretty close to “Freakin”. However, Asuka's misspelled name certainly poses a lot of questions. What in the world happened to whoever wrote the copy, and why did he misspell the WWE Women's star name that badly?

Rollins, to his credit, was quick to capitalize on this hilarious botch. As of the time of writing this article, the WWE star has changed his name on Twitter to reflect his new identity as Seth “Franklin” Rollins.

Rollins has been part of the WWE universe for over a decade now. He first broke into the main roster as part of the legendary “The Shield” stable with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Since then, Rollins has carved himself a spot in the company as a versatile worker who can work with any gimmick given to him. Whether it's a cowardly heel for “The Authority”, the ruthless tactician of “The Shield”, or the eccentric but violent “Freakin” version of himself, Rollins has proven that he can be a star in any situation.
