More than two years since joining the WWE as a trainee, Simone Johnson has finally gotten her own ring name. The daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently changed her Twitter name and handle to indicate that she's now going as Ava Raine.

While some showed her support, a lot of people took the opportunity to joke about the situation and mock her new ring name. For one, a follower commented how “slightly disappointed” he is that Ava Raine didn't go with “The Pebble” as her WWE name.

Ava Raine, clearly, is getting tired of the bad nickname jokes as she responded to the commenter and begged everyone to find a new joke.

Of course it's not the first time Ava Raine showed her disappointment and frustration on the criticisms and mockery of her ring name. Being the daughter of such a big personality like The Rock, comparisons between her dad are to be expected.

However, rightfully so, she highlighted that there is nothing wrong to be portrayed as a separate individual from your parents or other family.

“I probably sound like a broken record [and] hopefully this is the last I’ll mention this but I don’t understand why people being portrayed as separate individuals from their family name is such a heated topic,” Ava Raine wrote on Twitter. “A name doesn’t discredit any prior accomplishments from any family.”

Ava Raine has every right to call out the haters. Hopefully when she steps on the ring, she'll further silence them with her performances.
